Le Club Intellectuel, c'est ma parenthèse chic mais casual de chaque milieu de mois. On y vient pour débattre en toute bienveillance, pour prendre (excellent mixologue, excellent catering, excellent réseautage) mais aussi pour donner puisque chaque événement est participatif (on vous demandera d'utiliser vos cellules grises, ludiquement, comme carburants et lubrifiants sociaux). Le coucher de soleil sur le centre-ville de Montréal et le sourire d'Alicia Notre Hôtesse Hot À Tous complètent l'ambiance d'une soirée légère mais pas vaine, jouissive mais pas égoïste, au dessus de la foule mais avec de vrais gens. Un moment de grâce dans le vacarme de nos vies urbaines.

1. How can I become a member?
You can apply online (FR / EN) or start with a one-time trial access (available only to members's guests). Membership is limited (30) and by selection only.
2. I got waitlisted, what does it mean?
It means your application has been received, but all current spots are filled. You’ll be notified if a space opens up.
3. Can I cancel or pause my membership?
Yes, after 3 attendances. But once cancelled, you must wait 9 months before reapplying. This process aims to preserve the exclusivity of our community.
4. What’s a typical Club 🔑 evening like?
Each edition revolves around a single, thought-provoking question (the Grand Question) explored through a unique journey of conversation.
The experience is structured around thematic tables, each inspired by a DEMONT creation. Every table offers a new lens: for example, the Meet in the Middle table invites you to explore the night’s central question through the perspective of love, compromise, and connection.
The gong invites guests to shift tables every 15–20 minutes, letting each story unlock a new layer of reflection.
5. Can I attend just one Club evening?
Yes. We offer “first-time tickets” for our members's guests curious to explore the Club. Availability is limited.
6. Is there a dress code or code of conduct?
Yes and yes. Elegance of thought and attire is encouraged. Kindness, listening, and curiosity are non-negotiable. Signing the code of conduct charter is required before attending 🔑
7. Why is the Club limited to 30 members?
We believe intimacy breeds depth. 30 is the sweet spot to allow real connection without performance.
8. When is Club Intellectuel ? 🔑
Le Club Intellectuel takes place every 3rd thursday of the month. The full calendar is sent to our members by email invitation to be automatically added to their agendas.
9. What does “intellectual” mean to you?
Not academic elitism but the courage to think for yourself, the elegance to express it, and the presence to exchange deeply.
10. Can I attend if I’m introverted or new in town?
Absolutely. We create a safe, thoughtful space for introverts and curious minds who value authenticity over networking.
